PU Silvally-Flying (mini) [QC 2/2] [GP 1/1]

Silvally-Flying is just not that great in general. It is outclassed by other Flying-types like Dodrio, Scyther, and Swanna. Dodrio and Scyther are both faster, stronger, and have access to Swords Dance. Swanna is also faster and has room for an item to increase its attacking power. These Pokemon also have the luxury of not having average stats across the board. As with any Flying-type, Silvally-Flying is also susceptible to Stealth Rock, which is unwanted on any team, especially with it being the entry hazard remover. With its best special STAB move being Air Slash and it lacking desired coverage moves, it is just not viable.

Silvally-Flying uses this set to function as an offensive pivot with Defog. As with other Flying-types, it is immune to Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web. It has a good Speed tier and can give momentum back to its team with Parting Shot. Given its movepool, lone Flying typing, occupied item slot, lack of any kind of recovery, and susceptibility to Stealth Rock, Silvally-Flying lacks the capability to function as an offensive Flying-type. Swanna is more preferred over Silvally-Flying as a defogger since it's faster and is able to recover any lost HP with Roost. It also has a better offensive and defensive typing. Other Silvally formes are also recommended for Defogging since the other viable formes in the PU metagame can come in on Stealth Rock a couple of extra times to Defog. These formes include Silvally-Fairy, Silvally-Dragon, and Silvally-Ghost.

Due to its poor movepool and its fellow Flying-types (this sentence is redundant as you go on to mention the Flying-types anyways), Silvally-Flying is just not that great in general. It is outclassed by other Flying-types like Dodrio, Scyther, and Articuno (why do these Flying-types outclass Flyingvally? In the case of Dodrio and Scyther, they are faster, stronger and have access to Swords Dance). It also is susceptible to Stealth Rock, which is just unwanted on any team (maybe write how Stealth Rock weakness makes its job harder and wears it down). With its best special STAB move being Air Slash and lacking desired coverage moves, it is just not viable. This proves that Silvally-Flying is just outclassed by the aforementioned Pokemon as an offensive Flying-type.

Given its movepool, lone Flying-typing, occupied item slot, lack of reliable recovery, and susceptibility to Stealth Rock, Silvally-Flying lacks the capability to function as one of the better offensive Flying-types such as Dodrio, Scyther, Swanna, and Toucannon. Dodrio, Swanna, and Scyther all hit harder and go faster while Toucannon has the abilities (i would reword it as "the better and more useful ability in Skill Link (no one really uses Sheer Force)) and movepool ("and access to better movepool") to make it better.

(this makes it sound like the other flying mons arent weak to sr, so I'd say change around the order of sentences)Stealth Rock just wears it down over time and can't switch into it a lot. (you pretty much already said that in the last sentence, remove)With its best special STAB move being Air Slash and lacking desired coverage moves, it is just not viable. This proves that Silvally-Flying is just outclassed by the aforementioned Pokemon as an offensive Flying-type.(you already said this, remove)

Dodrio, Swanna, and Scyther all hit harder and go faster while Toucannon has the better and more useful ability in Skill Link and access to a better movepool to make it better.(I'd prefer you instead compare it to swanna and viable silvally forms as a defogger)
