Pokémon Slowbro

Base Stats: 95 HP / 75 Atk / 110 Def / 100 SpA / 80 SpD / 30 Spe
Abilities: Own Tempo | Oblivious | Regenerator (H)
Notable Moves:
- Future Sight
- Slack Off
- Body Press
- Chilling Water
- Thunder Wave
- Yawn
- Psychic
- Calm Mind
- Nasty Plot
- Surf
- Hydro Pump
- Fire Blast

Pros:
- The combination of its massive physical bulk, Regenerator, Slack Off recovery, and a good defensive typing allows Slowbro to wall a lot of physical attackers in the tier.
- Its Regenerator ability pairs very well with Heavy-Duty boots, allowing it to recover a full 33% of its HP whenever it switches out and back in.
- Future Sight allows it to put offensive pressure thanks to a good Special Attack stat, punishing an opponent that predicts incorrectly.
-Slowbro in particular likes the reduced distribution of Knock Off, allowing it to hold on to its boots more consistently.

Cons:
- Alongside Toxapex and Rillaboom, Slowbro may be the most gutted returning Pokémon this generation. No Teleport, no Scald, and worst, Slack Off has reduced PP.
- Although Water/Psychic is a good defensive typing, it also gives Slowbro unfortunate weaknesses to the common Ghost- and Dark-type attacks in the tier as well as U-Turn.
-Its middling Special Defense stat can make it overwhelmed by the powerful special attackers in the tier.

Possible sets:
Physical wall
Slowbro @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Slack Off
- Body Press / Chilling Water
- Future Sight
- Yawn / Thunder Wave / Chilling Water

Slowbro's bread-and-butter physical wall set. Slowbro's huge physical bulk and Water/Psychic typing allows it to wall numerous physical attackers in the tier such as Quaquaval, Azumarill, Baraskewda, Iron Treads, Garchomp, and Baxcalibur. As unfortunate that it no longer has Teleport, it also opens up a slot for Slowbro to use a status move to cripple the opponent or a coverage move to surprise the opponent off its good 100 Special Attack stat. No Teleport though means that it has to manually switch out if it wants to activate Regenerator.

Calm Mind sweeper
Slowbro @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Colbur Berry
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Surf / Hydro Pump
- Fire Blast / Sleep Talk
- Slack Off / Rest

Slowbro can also opt to run a Calm Mind set. Slowbro has the right stats to pull off such a set since Calm Mind can patch its middling Special Defense stat. Slack Off is the best recovery move to keep up momentum, though Rest can also be used at the cost of potentially giving the opponent free turns.

Terastallization Potential
As a defensive Pokémon, Slowbro doesn't really need to terastallize since it wants to use its typing to wall the threats it wants to wall. Terastallizing into a Steel-type can be used to rack up many resistances, though it now becomes weak to the types it originally wants to wall (Fire and Fighting). Calm Mind sets can terastallize to pure Water to remove its Ghost- and Dark-type weaknesses and boost its Water STAB.

The funny thing is that Slowbro is one of the best user of Chilling Water currently because it answers Taunt BU Dolphin. Bulk Up makes no progress against you because you blank the Atk boost. If he attacks or Taunts you, he goes negative in Atk boosts and either dies from Rocky Helmet before you, or deals next to no damage with Lefties. And once you are able to condition the opponent to stop trying to Taunt you, you can just click Thunder Wave and ruin his day for good.

Zero to hero, more like zero impact amirite

Slowbro has taken a pretty sizable hit, but still decent. It's Psychic typing hurts more than it helps as it struggles against many of the best offensive threats in the tier. One thing it does have is a amazing ability and movepool. It's also the most reliable Trick Room setter in the game. Regenerator+Slack off really bolsters it longevity as well
