SM NU: meeps 50-50 FLCL - 2 POWERFUL MAINERS WTF THERE'S NO WAY I CAN PREDICT THIS FVGFDFVGFFVGVFFVF PEARL.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING
SM NU: meeps 60-40 Lax - both of them are mainers but the meeps jerk makes him more powerful than lax, who has yet to receive the nu jerk's full blessing
SM NU: meeps 75.555-24.555 Hootie - same as above, except that hootie is bootie
SM NU: Kushalos 55-45 Yui. - kushalos is a mainer (albeit not a pure breed one) while yui has been stuck on PO up until this tournament. however, once you factor in the chance of kushalos getting attacked by his sister in bed during the game, this actually turns into a pretty close call
SM NU: Kushalos 36.6544-63.3456 Eternally - this is like walking into a cutest dog competition with a chihuahua bulldog crossbreed and facing off against a husky. they're both dogs, but the differences between them are like night and day. likewise, both of these guys are mainers, but eternally has committed most of his life up until this point to achieve maximum mastery of the nu tier, while kushalos also plays other tiers for whatever reason
SM NU: Kushalos 61-42 Jayde - if this were to be a black and white two over used match, it'd turn into a pretty fierce clash between bkc's latest tyranitar skarm scarf chomp sand balance and some hot heat consisting of 6 pokemon holding choice bands. however, this is sm nu we're talking about here, so kushalos' mastery will reign supreme over jayde's ability to literally invade his opponent's head
SM NU: Yui. vs. Eternally - Eternally may be from "down under" but his record is above and beyond so far. Then again, Steve Irwin also fought off crocs but got nabbed by a stingray so I'm not ruling out a Yui. win! author's note: when inquired about this particular match up, quebec's finest and former nu mainer soulgazer replied with: "eternally is very good, yui yui!"
SM NU: Yui. 50-50 Hootie - Can 2013's 4th best PO NUer find his former self after beating Rodri or will Togedemaru's analysis skeleton not be the only thing Hootie's gonna stamp this phase? Personally, I believe that the first mainer to kill 6 pokemon in this match will be the one to bring the win home
SM NU: Eternally 56-44 elodin - although one would certainly think that phase 1 "blasted" a hole through the goldenrod gliders' sm nu slot, manager duo ciele + pearl successfully managed to drag a wildebeest out of brazilean high elo league of legends solo queue to fill in the gap. meet elodin: one of smogon's most controversial figures in recent times. from allegedly receiving guidance from his buddy sogeking through some of his tour career's most important games to making a throwaway account just to post a 3/10 meme (which led to his own ban in the process LOL), this man has, honestly, done pretty much everything there is to be done. however, one question remains: can he beat a mainer? my gut doesn't think so, but i can guarantee that this will be a fierce duel for sure.
SM NU: elodin vs. Jayde - i personally refuse to predict this match due to the lack of a seasoned nu veteran in it. in all honesty, they could both lose for all i care. fucking heretics
SM NU: elodin 5-95 Rodriblutar - remember that one time when elodin took too long to actualisasion the grand slam standings? that's right boys: it has come back to bite him in the ass!
SM NU: Jayde 0.0000001-99.99999999 FLCL - these predictions went from 0 to 100 real fast huh. anyway, flcl is the magnum opus of never used. hell, one might even say he is the truth of competitive pokemon as an entirety. what could a mere bw player do to match that? we'll have to wait and see, but truth be told: both me and the majority of the community are predicting this to be a one sided massacre
SM NU: FLCL 55-45 Rodriblutar - it seems like bro blutar el guapo hasn't vueltoo quite yet, considering that he's yet to reply to flcl's profile mensaje with a proposed time. i'm giving the edge to flcl here for reasons that i've gotten across in most of my other predictions, but i think that it'll be a lot closer than most would expect due to the fact that this spanish wonder literally uses his head to run calcs while he plays on his phone. if there's anything that'd be a match for a mainer, it would surely be a supercomputer
SM NU: Lax 75-25 Hootie - instead of the special defense stat it'll be Hootie that Lax is dropping this phase oml
SM NU: Lax 50.97531-49.02469 Rodriblutar - in mi opinion, this combate depende on how the two of them utilization their broken moons. todavia, lax got more experiencia in sm nu. muy close game tho xD
