Specially Defensive (Iron Crown) @ Assault Vest / Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Fairy / Water

Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Psychic Noise
- Future Sight / Focus Blast

[SET COMMENTS]
With an Assault Vest, Iron Crown becomes a nearly impenetrable special tank, capable of stomaching attacks from the tier's strongest wallbreakers such as Iron Valiant, Tapu Lele, and Mega Diancie. However, its lack of longevity means it can be worn down very quickly by Spikes damage, making it only suitable for highly aggressive offense teams. Volt Switch complements such teams, bringing Iron Crown's wallbreaking teammates in safely against passive switch-ins such as Ferrothorn and Galarian Slowking. Psychic Noise punishes passive Pokemon which attempt to absorb Iron Crown's Volt Switch such as Gliscor and Ferrothorn by preventing them from healing, whereas Tachyon Cutter threatens less specially bulky Volt Switch blockers such as Landorus-T and Garchomp. Future Sight combined with Volt Switch helps teammates such as Zamazenta and Urshifu-R. Alternatively, Focus Blast lets Iron Crown be more individually threatening, scaring Ferrothorn and Heatran, and dealing slightly more damage to Ting-Lu and Mega Tyranitar compared to Tachyon Cutter. The given EV spread maximizes Iron Crown's special bulk while allowing it to receive a Special Attack boost in Electric Terrain via Quark Drive, permitting it to be more threatening on offensive teams. A Calm nature and maximum Special Defense investment can be used instead to bolster Iron Crown's special bulk, especially if it forgoes Assault Vest for the increased longevity Heavy-Duty Boots provides. Tera Fairy is Iron Crown's preferred Tera type to invert its Dark weakness against Darkrai, Mega Tyranitar, and Hisuian Samurott; as another option Tera Water provides a Water resistance in a pinch against aggressive rain teams. Iron Crown fits best on offensive teams that appreciate a non-passive defensive backbone against special attackers that can provide support via pivoting and Future Sight. Landorus-T is its best partner, as it functions similarly as a pivot with access to Stealth Rock and U-Turn, complementing Iron Crown by checking physical attackers such as Garchomp and Gouging Fire. It also provides an Electric immunity, which Iron Crown appreciates as it fails to prevent Raging Bolt and Zapdos from freely setting up Calm Mind or pivoting with Volt Switch, respectively. In the same vein, Alomomola forms a potent defensive core alongside Iron Crown, pivoting into physical attackers and increasing Iron Crown's longevity via Wish support. Iron Crown's usage of Psychic Noise is bolstered by entry hazard support from Ferrothorn and Heatran, as Psychic Noise ensures entry hazard damage sticks by disabling foes' passive Leftovers recovery. Iron Crown pairs well with Pokemon that pressure Ground-types such as Ogerpon-W and Urshifu-R, as they prevent Gliscor and Ting-Lu from hindering its functions as a pivot. Alternatively, Pokemon such as Mega Medicham and Ursaluna can utilize Iron Crown pivoting out against walls such as Ferrothorn, Toxapex, and Galarian Slowking to find opportunites to wallbreak. Additionally, Iron Crown finds a role on Electric Terrain teams fueled by Tapu Koko, with a Quark Drive boost making it more threatening or even bulkier. In return, Iron Crown indirectly supports Tapu Koko by helping fellow teammates on Electric Terrain teams such as Hawlucha and Iron Valiant wallbreak, with Future Sight pressuring checks such as Toxapex and Zapdos.

Heavy-Duty Boots Iron Crown
No need to specify boots here, av also appreciates it if used on these teams

delve deeper into breakers in general in the examples section, stuff that appreciate being brought in safely on whatever crown volts on

Psychic Noise punishes other passive teams hinging on Gliscor which staves off Tachyon Cutter which otherwise threatens Volt Switch blockers such as Landorus-T and Garchomp
Reword this line, smtg along the lines of “Psychic Noise punishes passive pokemon that attempt to absorb Iron Crown’s Volt Switch, such as Gliscor and Ferrothorn.”

can add on a mention of how it works really well with spikes since it stops passive lefties recovery
1/1 otherwise good job

However, its lack of longevity means it can be worn down very quickly alongside by Spikes damage, making it only suitable for highly aggressive offense teams. Psychic Noise punishes passive Pokemon which attempt to absorb Iron Crown's Volt Switch such as Gliscor and Ferrothorn by preventing them from healing (presume this is what you meant here), whereas Tachyon Cutter otherwise threatens less specially bulky Volt Switch blockers such as Landorus-T and Garchomp. Future Sight combines with Volt Switch to help teammates such as Zamazenta and Urshifu-R. (AP) , whereas Alternatively, Focus Blast lets Iron Crown be more individually threatening, scaring Ferrothorn, (RC) and Heatran, and forcing dealing ("forcing" feels incorrect here as Focus Blast can miss) slightly more damage against Ting-Lu and Mega Tyranitar compared to Tachyon Cutter. Without Tapu Koko's Electric Terrain If Tapu Koko is not being used as a teammate (subjective but think this provides more clarity; if this isn't what you really meant then don't change), a Calm nature and maximum Special Defense investment can be used instead to bolster its Iron Crown's special bulk, especially if Iron Crown chooses you choose (Iron Crown does not choose its item, the player does) to neglect Assault Vest for the increased longevity Heavy-Duty Boots provides. The given EV spread maximises maximizes (American English) Iron Crown's special bulk while allowing it to receive a Special Attack boost in Electric Terrain via Quark Drive, allowing permitting (repetition) using another word like "making it more threatening" seems better but this is fine it to be more threatening on offensive teams. Without Tapu Koko's Electric Terrain If Tapu Koko is not being used as a teammate (subjective but think this provides more clarity; if this isn't what you really meant then don't change) wording could be a little better, something like "If not pairing Iron Crown with Tapu Koko", a Calm nature and maximum Special Defense investment can be used instead to bolster its Iron Crown's special bulk, especially if Iron Crown chooses you choose (Iron Crown does not choose its item, the player does) true but try to avoid the use of "you" "your" in analyses to neglect forgo you just choose not to use it, not neglect it Assault Vest for the increased longevity Heavy-Duty Boots provides. Tera Fairy is Iron Crown's preferred Tera Type type to invert its Dark weakness against Darkrai, Mega Tyranitar, and Hisuian Samurott; (ASC) , (RC) although as another option, Tera Water provides a Water resistance in a pinch against aggressive Rain rain teams.
