The idea of the set is to catch the opponent off guard. You send this out turn one, and the opponent is expecting a lead stealth rocker that dies in one fighting or ground move. And you could set up rocks... OR you could get an Iron Defense up. Now this may not seem too threatening right now. But we now have the possibility to sweep. You use Body Press and then the opponent dies. Stone Edge is specifically for Scyther, which threatens a One-Hit-KO. Stealth Rock is Stealth Rock, not having it isn't a bad idea, it's just not a good idea either. Foul Play could be used if you hate set-up moves. Rest is good for some instant recovery, especially if you run Tera Fairy or Water for a more defensive type. And finally, Metal Burst. Metal Burst is a weaker version of Counter that acts as both Counter and Mirror Coat. If you live a hit you'll most likely knock out whatever is in front of you.
