Requesting a team around mixed life orb simisage, the coverage on the set pretty much guarantees it a kill whenever it comes in as nothing wants to switch into it. Gunk Shot is for other grasses, leaf storm is a powerful stab which can also use overgrow, superpower is mainly for steels but hitting dark and normal is nice. Knock is just there cause it's knock off. If you don't wanna build around this then requesting nasty plot simipour, thx n_n

Hey Shaneghoul. This was approved by Kiyo. Simple stuff, what Simisage would have trouble with, Magmortar & Kabutops can handle. Weezing can help weaken the team obviously & Claydol synergies well with Weezing & Magmortar. I put in Swellow though due to that Simisage works well when a pokemon on your side of the field faints BUT I wanted to go a step further & give support to Simisage by using Tailwind Swellow. So that way it can act as a better revenge killer. This can also work with Kabutops' sweeping. Basically, I just wanted to offer as much combos as possible in this team. I also made a Simipour team lol.

Hey dude, building with hazard stack + taunt spam is super deadly so this team turned out fun. The hazard stacking core that I chose to pair with Pyroar was Carracosta + Ferroseed. Carracosta provides stealth rock, priority and a solid defensive check to top threats like Archeops and Tauros which threaten Pyroar. Ferroseed provides spikes and a solid water/psychic resist. At this point in the team, I wanted a spin blocker, fighting check and taunt user so enter Misdreavus. The speed is for adamant Pawniard. Next on the team is Skuntank. I wanted a t spike absorber because otherwise t spikes annoy the team greatly. Skunk can also get rid of Rotom which annoys the team as well. The speed outspeeds modest base 70s like Ludicolo and Samurott. Lastly on the team I have Musharna. This mon gives me a secondary fighting check and win condition. Enjoy!

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe there's already an outstanding request from Adaire and someone else (on phone can't check who) for a sand team and I think one of the requests was specifically stoutland, either way, you're better off waiting for that team and making another request if you want to :)

My bad, I was under the impression he wanted scrappy dog. I'll just wait either way

A really nice team I want to see is a Offensive Sticky Web team built around Leavanny, and Sawk! Sawk can smash Steel types and abuse webs! I would recommend something that can smack Xatu and other Psychic types, as they are huge problems for this core.

Froggyboy

Hey, Froggyboy here's the Marowak team you wanted. Chose Double-Edge over Stone Edge for a stronger damage output and being more reliable but you can change it to your desire. I only got rid of the small HP investment and threw it all in speed so you've got a better chance out outspeed Lanturn and other things that like to creep around in that speed mark. Next I chose Mesprit for just a reliable rock setter and good match up against Xatu. This is a more offensive stealth rock set so I just went with 3 attacks, Psychic for a strong stab, thunderbolt nails Xatu on the switch and water types and Signal Beam rounds out coverage and making for a good Malamar check. Colbur berry gives you can easier time against fighting types and lets you beat Shiftry should they chose to stay in. Weezing acts as the main answer to fighting types while also checking Mega Audino with Taunt. Pain split isn't too useful. Shiftry is awesome and serves as a check to Psychic types which tend to be a problem. Also there to provide Hazard control. Poliwrath gives you a nice water immunity and good multiple resistances which the team benefits from. Special Tank Poliwrath works bets for this team. Aurorus is the last memeber on the squad. Choice Scarf makes up for lack of speed on the team, it has just enough speed to outspeed the likes of Tauros and Archeops so it's able to get a lot of surprise kills. Stone edge seems weird in the last slot but it hits Jynx, AV Magmortar, Articuno and Cryogonal. O and this thing destroys all weather teams. Enjoy :toast:

Prefacing this whole thing by saying I'm not an NU lord like Tennis, but since he and Kiyo wanted me to post my sand team for this request I guess this team isn't half bad. I built the team by starting with Baby Hippo / Stoutland / Sandslash as an established offensive sand core, and built out from there. Mantine comes next to absorb Scalds & other waters aimed at the team with Air Slash + Toxic to beat Ludicolo. It is also the hazard remover. I guess its not optimal to have a Defogger weak to rocks but the team plays at a very fast pace so you usually won't have to remove hazards many times in a game. Magmortar is the Lilligant counter and sleep absorber for the squad, and also does a fair job of taking on some of the fatter Pokemon that Stoutland and Sandslash have trouble breaking through like Weezing. Garbodor provides a more solid fighting resist than Mantine, as well as spikes which are super important for helping Stoutland pick up some extra KOs.

EV spreads & Movesets
The Stoutland set I have is the one you've requested, although I've included Facade as an option over crunch to help vs Weezing and other Pokemon that may burn you. It also happens often enough that a team lays down a Toxic Spike and Stoutland can KO the entire team from there. Baby Hippo is really not meant to stay in play for very long, so I've swapped Slack Off for Yawn to force opponents out, Yawn is a great way to get Stoutland and Sandslash in safely on "predicted" switches. Hippo also has Smooth Rock > Eviolite to support both Sand Rush Pokemon with 8 turns instead of 5. Sandslash has X Scissor to increase its coverage and beat things like Malamar, Colbur Psychics, and Lilligant. People have told me to use SD, you can if you want I guess. Mantine just has 2 speed more than Adamant Rhydon for creep game with the rest in Def with a Standard moveset. Magmortar has the recommended speed + 1 with max SAtk. The 88 HP 12 Def is just the most efficient way to distribute bulk with what was left. The Mag set is somewhat standard with Psychic is to hit Weezing & Hariyama because neither are OHKOd by Stoutland (although Hariyama requires very little chip damage). Garbodor is standard Defensive.

reminder to everyone that you only have 3 more hours to request a team before we shut down for nu open

I'm feeling lazy so build me a meme team around good old Happy Dino

(this thing)

If that's too much of a bad pokemon, how about just a stall team with some interesting mon as a wincon. Maybe rp 3 attacks Rhydon if you can't think of anything more interesting, since everyone's hyping that set(and it's really good), idk.

Oh can someone build a hyper offense team with lead crustle? Not sure if hyper offense is that viable in this meta or not, i really havent played since the drops.
Anyone can build the team but would prefer Blast or Brawlfest

Hey everyone, the goal is still to have all your NU teams built by Round 1 of the Open. Sorry if we're being a little slow right now, but with Grand Slam in full swing I'm sure you all can understand.

I'm reposting an updated version of an Articuno offense team I built in XY. The team functions pretty much the same and really relies on the opponent not having enough to deal with both CB Scyther and CB Sawk. If the physical attacking core wasn't enough we have a dual Ice-type core here that honestly struggles to find switch ins. Prinplup and Rotom give the team some defensive backbone, although for the most part you'll need to rely on pressure and momentum to win games.

Ok, couple of things: all these teams were built by me in less than 10 minutes, I had to fulfill all 14 lab requests as my team kinda disappeared after nu open started. as such a lot of these teams have multiple requests jumbled into one for the sake of my sanity, sometimes this worked extremely well, but on some teams i could definitely see something else working better, use these teams as a starting point to learn the meta and make adjustments based on your experiences. I've only tested a few of these teams, but they pass most of my checklist so odds are they'll perform ok with decent predictions and plays. I can't be bothered to dig through and find all the peoples names who requested teams but I'm 95% sure I did all the requests in some form or another, if I missed one let me know and you'll have high priority.
