==============

As you can above, Gen 6 made quite an impression and change to previous type combo Kings, for starter Dragon/Fight went from being the very best and most lusted after pokemon type to...trash. Ghost has become an excellent glue to everything, and most surprisingly Dragon is still a great neutral coverage move. Flying as always is an under appreciated boss offensive type.

There has been suggestions for new two type combos at the end of the first thread, kindly repost them here to verify them and include them in the OP.

Oh, we're gonna play that game, ehh? :-p

That said, my charts are mindless computer-generated models that don't even factor in ability. So its good for you to perform the analysis you've done on the types. What I can say, is mine are complete and exhaustive, thanks to the nature of programming / computers.

The main one missing is Fairy / Ground, which aside from Levitate users, is resisted only by Skarmory (Steel/Flying) naturally.

I'll thumb through and see if anything else is missing...

I tried to clear any misunderstanding and I never posted in your thread accusing anyone of being repetitive or anything.

Anyway, looking forward to your contributions/corrections.

Don't come in looking for a fight and try to derail a perfectly sound topic, I tried to clear any misunderstanding but instead you link to a topic made in 2008 in an attempt to show you made the...first gen 6 topic?
I'm trolling you. Just a bit of fun here and there. Apologies if you're taking offense.

Another missing attack combo: Flying / Ground. Resisted again, only by Skarmory, Bronzong, Rotoms (due to levitate), Solrock and Lunatone.

Dragon/Ground (aka GARCHOMP) has always been a crazy force. It is now not only "resisted", but fully ineffective to Togekiss however. Otherwise, Bronzong / Skarmory were your only bets otherwise.

Flying/Water hits a lot too. Rotom-W and Empoleon are the only resists IIRC.

Don't forget Whimsicott, which is immune to Dragon and resists Ground.

Thanks!

Please check the below before adding it to the OP:

Fairy/Ground: Rotom-H resists. Perfect coverage would be Water.

For Flying/Ground, you mean Rotom-G, who's grass typing makes it lose its Flying resistance. Rotom-C manages to still resist Flying/Ground.

Here are some things that were supposed to get underlined For great offensive typing attacking resists:

Dragon Ball-dark/steel (Bisharp)
Fairy/Electric-fire/electric (Rotom-H)
Normal/Ground-ghost/bug (Shedinja)
Rock/Fighting-psychic/ground (Claydol) ghost/ground (Golurk)
Dark/Water-grass/fairy (Whimsicott) fairy/water (Azumarrill)
Dark/Ground-fairy/flying (Togekiss)

Ghost/Poison IS NOT resisted by normal/dark because poison is neutral against both.

Why isn't fire/electric on great defensive (especially with rotom-h)? It has 8 resistances (and rotom-h gets levitate, giving it a ground immunity). 8 is pretty much as good as any non-steel type can get.. Rotom-h resists bolt-beam-ground-fire which in itself is pretty crazy. (but most importantly, genesect can't touch this thing!)

Bronzong resists Fairy/Ground as well.

Also, defensively, Ghost/Normal isn't too shabby were it real. Three immunities, including the only natural way to resist both Ghost and Fight together, 2 resists and only one weakness.

Another good offensive type combo is Bug/Ghost.

Resisted by: Normal/Fire, Normal/Fighting, Normal/Poison, Normal/Flying, Normal/Ghost, Normal/Steel, Normal/Fairy.

Pyroar, Meloetta (Pirouette), and just about every Normal/Flying type outside of maybe Staraptor all see insignificant usage in OU, making Bug/Ghost functionally unresisted in the tier.

Needs more Bug/Steel. 8 fantastic resistances and an immunity despite the steel nerf.

Just to remember, Wigglytuff is Normal/Fairy, so this typing actually exists.
No one's gonna use it, but hey

Ah, I forgot about that type change. Like you said it doesn't make any significant difference for the purposes of OU coverage, but thanks for pointing that out.

I've always heard it as:

Rotom-C: Grass
Rotom-F: Ice
Rotom-H: Fire
Rotom-S: Flying
Rotom-W: Water

This seems to be the official notation for analyses, as well, rather than calling the Grass form "Rotom-G".
