Howdy!

I recently gained Artist Approval for these forums, so I figured I should go ahead and create a thread for my own art!
I specialize in cartoons and comics, with an affinity for the silly and comedic :^)

(I also used to make frequent satire strips that would poke fun at toxic player clichés, so maybe you've seen some "GenWun Guy" content floating around online)


I recently started doing Freelance Illustration full-time, so I'm looking forward to participating in an active art scene that shares a love for competitive Pokémon.
I'm also still familiarizing myself with how to navigate the site and all of its nuances, so sorry in advance for any Boomer moments I might have

TRAINER COMMISSIONS
Here is a collection of some Trainer/Pokemon pieces I've been hired to create in the last few years. Most of these feature someone's own persona or character.

*** please do not ask about previous pricing for any of these samples- my rates are adjusted as needed, and many of these are Patron rewards, which fall under completely different (and somewhat nebulous) price tiers. Every piece has a variety of factors that determine how much I charge, so I'll need as much information as I can about a request before I can provide an accurate estimate- my social medias are typically the best way to see updates for my queue availability. While I love all sorts of engagement with my content, I ask that you respect my time and rates by only reaching out about commissions if you have a serious inquiry. Thank you!

SLOWBRO/KING PARADOX DESIGNS
People who subscribe to my Patreon may redeem monthly art requests depending on the tier that they choose- here is a set of prompts given to me by @FusionWarrior on Twitter, who asked for me to interpret their concepts for a past and future Slowbro/king, respectively.

For this design, the client presented me with a sketch prompt that featured a combination of Slowking and Exeggutor. I interpreted the design by fusing the two Pokemon in a way that suggests a lack of natural harmony- the Slowking is not actually connected to the same consciousness as the rest of his "faces", but lacks the self awareness to realize this. He compensates by emulating the same features via accessorizing.

The concept for the future paradox version follows a similar approach- only this time, the Slowbro's sentience is actually derived from his shell, which has evolved into something adjacent to an alien parasite.​

IRON MALICE PARADOX DESIGN

This design is comprised of elements from Haunter, Porygon-Z, and Spiritomb. The concept my Patron had in mind is that the combined frustrations of these Pokemon have created a malicious entity that is confined to a digital projector! I love getting such creative requests!

6/13 Trivia Artwork
"This Pokemon has never been OU by usage, but was briefly stuck in Ubers because of its only legal ability at the time"

My first work created for Smogon's social media! The idea was that Articuno has stumbled into the workout area designated for Uber tier Pokemon, lolol. I also threw some Power training items onto Deoxys and Mewtwo as a little added touch! Looking forward to submitting some work for next month's Trivia too!!​

"The Yache Berry is an item all too common to Pokemon with Ice weaknesses, like Garchomp and Landorus. Using any of these moves against a wild Pokemon in Generation 6 could net you a Yache Berry at the end of the battle."

Pretty straightforward concept- just a good ol' Lando Popeye making sure he's got all his nutrients ​
