Who says Uxie cant star in a Rain Team?[First RMT UU]

Iv'e been playing the UU tier for a few months now and i think i have found a pretty successful Rain Dance Team. Its won 80% of the games so far, but its definitely not perfect feedback would be much appreciated:)

CHANGES ARE IN BOLD

At a Glance:

The Lead

Crobat@Damp Rock
106 Hp/152 Def/ 252 Spe
Inner Focus/Jolly

-Rain Dance
-Brave Bird
-Taunt
-U-Turn

Comments:Crobat is one the best leads in UU and almost always sets up Rain Dance, Taunt is for all the Steel and Rock types that love to switch in and set up SR.Usually Crobat just Rain Dances and U-Turns the heck outta there to one of my sweepers. Added Brave Bird over Roost as it keeps many threats at bay.

The Bulk Upper

Floatzel@Lum Berry
32 Hp/252 Atk/8 Def/216 Spe
Swift Swim/Adamant

-Bulk Up
-Ice Punch
-Return
-Waterfall

Comments:Floatzel is beast. This is who i go to after i U-turn out with Crobat. The main objective for him is use Bulk Up on a predicted T-Wave or Will-O-Wisp and then proceed to weaken the walls to make it easier for Kabutops to sweep late game. His speed is just an added bonus as he can keep on sweeping when the rain drys up.My onle concern with Floatzel is he is lacking a grass or electric move I used to use Mixed Floatzel with Waterfall,Hydro Pump,Ice beam,Hp Grass would that be better here?

The Specialist

Omastar@Life Orb
4 Def/252 Spa/252 Spe
Swift Swim/Modest

-Ancientpower
-Hidden Power[Grass]
-Ice Beam
-Surf

Comments:Any team that lacks a special wall is going to cry after Omastar gets through with them. Base 115 Spa hurts anything really(except chansey!). Omastars main goal is weaken or kill any wall that Floatzel couldn't sufficiently hurt. This mainly includes Slowbro and Milotic.

Mr Coverage

Ludicolo@Life Orb
4 Def/252 Spa/252 Spe
Swift Swim/Modest

-Energy Ball
-Ice beam
-Surf
-Rain Dance

Comments:Ludicolo is my Mid-Late game Sweeper as he offers the best coverage on my team. He is here to clean up anything Floatzel and Omastar couldn't. Rain Dance over Focus Punch as I only have 2 other pokemon using it.

Memento Man

Uxie@Damp Rock
252 Hp/252 Def/4 Spd
Levitate/Relaxed

-Memento
-Rain Dance
-Stealth Rock
-U-Turn

Comments:Uxie's goals are to come in on the 9th turn after the first lot of rain has run out, set up SR, Rain Dance then U-turn out of there.Late game he comes in to set up rain once more and then Memento for this pokemon to come in....

The MVP

Kabutops@Life Orb
80 Hp/252 Atk/176 Spe
Swift Swim/Adamant

-Swords Dance
-Stone Edge
-Waterfall
-Aqua Jet

Comments:This is my end game Sweeper. People almost always switch out after there pokemon gets -2 att,-2 Spa allowing for a free Swords Dance then he proceeds to end the game by OHKOing as many pokemon as he can. With the walls weakened and 7 turns of rain dance left my opponent doesn't stand a chance.Replaced X-Scissor with Aqua Jet after a SD this is very powerful and helps against priority users.

There you have it my first RMT constructive criticism is welcome!

Hey, simply because this is the first comment and I want to get things started, I have a pretty general comment. This team has problems with electric attacks and no one uses the 100% accurate thunder. Lanturn with volt absorb could rectify those problems, but I don't know where to put it on the team. It could replace omastar.
As for crobat, I don't think you really need it to stay around after setting up the rain, so I don't think you need it to have roost. After rain is set up, it won't even be the fastest pokemon on your team to justify its existance. Having said that, you could give it brave bird instead of roost.
I am sure that other people will have much better ideas.

Thankyou for the input i will definitely test out lanturn as 2 4x grass weak pokemom could be a problem.
Also adding brave bird would help counter toxicroak

I'm not sure what your experience is personally, but I prefer running grass knot on ludicolo over energy ball for the greater damage output on Milotic(which is extremely common on UU stall teams/balanced teams).

Second thing I would do is replace x-scissor on Kabutops with Aqua Jet. Yes, kabutops will basically outspeed anything prior to set up in the rain, but priority in UU is rampant. I'm sure you've experienced a couple of cases where you were forced to either sacrifice kabutops or switch out due to a machpunch/vacuumwave/suckerpunch threat. Aqua jet solves this issue b/c it's the same priority (+1), and will KO many of the priority users coming in to stop your sweep.

Hidden power grass seems to generally be given the nod over HP Electric because Mantine is extremely rare to find on the ladder these days, along with the fact that hp grass hits many things like (water/ground,water/rock) 4x SE. As a side note, HP electric does hit flying types hard on the switchin, in case your opponent predicts you have hp grass and switches in Crobat for example.

As aforementioned, crobat sometimes needs to come in and scare out a threat while simultaneously setting up rain. Some rain counters are too important to risk for your opponent. If your opponent figures out that you are brave birdless, you will get your crobat killed while it's setting up rain a lot of the time.

Good job with your team though. This is a solid rain dance team that has the potential to do well in the current UU ladder (but crobat's going to gone any day now isn't it?)

Good luck.

Edit: P.S. grass knot does pitiful damage vs. lanturn, so keep that in mind when deciding between the two. Lanturn is also another reason to run hp grass on omastar over hp electric.(30% chance of 2hko factoring SR damage)

Hmmm. I can't really rate this team too much, because I don't exactly understand what each Pokemon does, and why you use them. It just looks like to me that you through together a team of 4 Swift Swimmers, and 2 Rain Dance set up Pokemon.

If you expand the comments a bit, I could probably give you a better rate, but for now I'm not to sure, the only thing I would suggest right now is exchanging X-Scissor on Kabutops for Aqua Jet.

This team looks pretty solid. It's good to see you have 2 physical sweepers so you're not totally screwed over by chansey. any team lacking chansey will be absolutely screwed over by your omastar, which is also good. an alternative to the hp electric/earth power combo is hp grass and ancientpower. it lets you kill quagsire more easily, and you can still kill mantine. you might want to try that out.

as for the electric thing, you definately need either lanturn or a ground-type SOMEWHERE. claydol can do almost everything that uxie does i think...

the lack of your own thunder isn't really that bad. it's just nice to have to take advantage of the rain in every possible way. you have 3 rain dancers, 2 with life orb? that should be enough. i usually only have 3 rain dancers on my rain dance teams (i have use rain dance in OU, UU, NU and Little Cup), but if 4 works for you that's fine.

imo, qwilfish is definately worth trying out. explosion really can be useful sometimes. replace one of your other swift swimmers for it.

so yeah, nice team there. good luck with it.

xianglongfa, i think i will put grass knot over energy ball on ludicolo simply because you don't see many Lanturn running around.
Replaced X-Scissor with Aqua Jet,i have been getting alot of technitops in battles and they always carry Mach Punch which is really annoying, also replaced Roost with Brave Bird as you suggested.

HeYsUp, i will add to the comments very soon as i would love a rate from you:)

Thankyou Ch00blet for the Ancientpower and Hp grass this solves all my problems(also wouldn't mind the stat boosts:))
I didn't use Qwilfish because i always saw it as a weaker but faster Kabutops, but i will test it because Explosion could be very useful.
I have tested Lanturn and I found it to be to weak, it feels like im wasting turns in the rain when I could be doing some serious damage with my sweepers, Uxie has 1 benefit over Claydol, Memento. This is essential in ensuring Kabutops at least gets 1 Swords Dance up.

Im definitely open to suggestions for a ground type to take electric attacks, but who should i replace?

Thankyou all for your suggestions.
