  1. Bug Reports v2.0 (READ OP BEFORE POSTING!!)

Dark types are immune to Prankster Assist V-Create used by Liepard, example (turn 13): http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pokebankuualpha-495093277

  3. Move Magic room

From Bulbapedia: I tested it, too. Note that I tested the effects of Trick first, and then tested it without Trick. If the choice item is tricked on and off during Magic Room, then you can choose a different move. If you want to use Magic Room on a choiced pokemon, give that pokemon Trick, but...
  4. Move Magic room

I believe this doesn't work. I think that if you use Magic Room while choice locked, Magic Room will be choice locked after Magic Room ends.
  5. Pokémon Deoxys-Defense

I threw together a Mega-Pinsir HO team willy-nilly, and knowing that Deoxys-D is the premier hazard setter for teams like this was enough for me to be successful with it without putting much effort into picking the other members.
  6. Storm's A Comin'! The Wrath of the Elements Strikes Fear Into Your Heart, w/ a Fire/Water/Grass Core

Well, if it does reduce the damage done then I'll respectfully decline. A max-Speed base 100 pokemon has 328 Spd, and my Ferrothorn has 40. Divide 328 by 4 to get 82, meaning Gyro Ball will only have ~50 Base Power. I'd rather paralyze and set up hazards than hold off just so my Gyro Ball does...
  7. Storm's A Comin'! The Wrath of the Elements Strikes Fear Into Your Heart, w/ a Fire/Water/Grass Core

Well, it's not as much of an issue as you think. I can cripple both of those with Knock Off, Psyshock is a solid 2HKO after hazard damage, and they both let me set up hazards. I can always force them out with a Perish Song, and they won't survive a Perish Song as my enemy's last pokemon...
  8. Storm's A Comin'! The Wrath of the Elements Strikes Fear Into Your Heart, w/ a Fire/Water/Grass Core

Well, Gyro Ball is resisted by more types, but I see your point and might try it. Does Paralysis reduce the damage I do with Gyro Ball?
  9. Storm's A Comin'! The Wrath of the Elements Strikes Fear Into Your Heart, w/ a Fire/Water/Grass Core

    Storm's a Comin'! Thundurus/Manaphy/Volcarona/Ferrothorn/Latios/Politoed / / / / / Cu / H / S / Fe / U / O The Inspiration I usually use a team with Tyranitar on it to counter weather. I've noticed that the ability to override my opponent's weather is...
  10. Other XY OU Victim of the Week [WEEK 6 (Read post #181)]

Banette @ Banettite Abitlity: Cursed Body EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spd - Will-O-Wisp - Destiny Bond - Shadow Claw - Trick (Magic) Room / Protect Mega-Banette is best on very gimmicky teams, including Assist V-Create, Trick/Magic Room, and trollish Prankster teams, but that isn't all it can...
  11. Other XY OU Viability Ranking Thread (B- and C+ Pokemon discussion)

Tell him to try Aegislash/Hydreigon, a relatively popular wallbreaking core that resists almost everything. Life Orb leads to many mixed 2HKOs, even without Atk investment, especially Blissey and Heatran from Superpower.
  12. Other XY OU Viability Ranking Thread (B- and C+ Pokemon discussion)

I pointed out why FC is bad in OU, OU "Baitdreigon" should be mixed. FC is only useful vs Clefable with Specs--barely. Salamence can't 2HKO anything in ou, it has a much smaller movepool and a weaker Draco Meteor. It also doesn't draw out special walls, and has 4x Ice weakness and SR weakness...
  13. Other XY OU Viability Ranking Thread (B- and C+ Pokemon discussion)

You can 2HKO azumarill with a Head Smash mixed set, as well as Sylveon and several other special walls that resist Superpower. While it cripples Hydreigon, you open yourself up to sweep with Dark, Fighting, or Dragon moves from another pokemon with a set like this. It's situational, but the...
  14. Other XY OU Viability Ranking Thread (B- and C+ Pokemon discussion)

Is Hydreigon getting ignored as an addition because it hasn't been discussed enough? It was claimed that anything not added was deemed not worthy, but Hydreigon is clearly better than D-ranked pokemon. I would like to think that being a pokemon that can 2HKO anything in OU is enough to be worthy...
  15. XY OU Threat List [Compiling Entries]

Hydreigon Type: Dark/Dragon Base Stats: 92 HP / 105 Atk / 90 Def / 125 SpA / 90 SpD / 98 Spe Ability: Levitate Hydreigon is a slightly bulky Dragon-type with a large offensive movepool, scary STABs, and 8 resistances/immunities. Hydreigon usually holds a Life Orb or a Choice Scarf. This...
  16. Move Magic room

I've tried and failed to get Magic Room to be anything but a fun gimmick in OU. I normally play a Magic Room team in UU. Sweeping with a choice banded +6 Azurmarill, +2 Talonflame, or +4-6 Aegislash's priority is fun, but most teams can stop you from setting up. I did find protect and rock head...
  17. Other XY OU Viability Ranking Thread (B- and C+ Pokemon discussion)

Deoxys-S is BL, and Galvantula is the best offensive Sticky Web user... I'm pretty tired of the weird/inaccurate arguments that seem to be popular in this thread, I'm gonna take a break.
  18. Other XY OU Viability Ranking Thread (B- and C+ Pokemon discussion)

I'm gonna agree that Ky-B should be in A-... It is 2HKOed by mega-lucario vacuum wave? That makes it easy to revenge kill, if you somehow don't have any faster pokemon in this blazing fast metagame. Steel moves are more popular now, too, because of fairy type. If Ky-B is A, why isn't it popular...
  19. Bug Reports v2.0 (READ OP BEFORE POSTING!!)

The wording is unclear, so I see how you could be mistaken, but Natural Gift doesn't activate the berry's normal effect.
  20. Bug Reports v2.0 (READ OP BEFORE POSTING!!)

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Assist_(move) According to this page, Assist shouldn't be able to call Sticky Web. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/uubeta-80183257 This is not the case, despite my lucky streak at the beginning. I'm happy you fixed the fact knock off wasn't activating...
