I've been running around a little with this set I picked up from back in XY:
Aurorus @ Choice Band
Ability: Refrigerate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Return
- Facade
- Earthquake
- [Insert Filler Move]
It's actually a monster of a wallbreaker that at least cripples nearly anything slower than itself, a significant example being the highly dangerous Drampa. Specs is likely somewhat better, since it hits significantly harder off the bat and isn't hard-walled by Prinplup, but the surprise factor behind this, as well as the ability to severely punish Toxic Spikes, is enough to justify using it.
Calcs:
252+ Atk Choice Band Refrigerate Aurorus Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Togetic: 248-294 (78.9 - 93.6%)
252+ Atk Choice Band Refrigerate Aurorus Facade (140 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Ferroseed: 163-193 (56 - 66.3%)
252+ Atk Choice Band Refrigerate Aurorus Return vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Drampa: 530-626 (147.2 - 173.8%)
252+ Atk Choice Band Refrigerate Aurorus Facade (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Throh: 364-429 (81.9 - 96.6%)
252+ Atk Choice Band Refrigerate Aurorus Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Vileplume: 372-438 (105 - 123.7%)
252+ Atk Choice Band Aurorus Earthquake vs. 40 HP / 140 Def Lanturn: 320-378 (79.8 - 94.2%)
252+ Atk Choice Band Refrigerate Aurorus Facade (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Musharna: 255-301 (58.4 - 69%)
252+ Atk Choice Band Refrigerate Aurorus Facade (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Sableye: 276-325 (90.7 - 106.9%)
I won't put any more so as not to flood the place.
As for the Facade calcs, not every team is going to have Toxic Spikes, though there's always a very solid chance something poisons or burns Aurorus at some point. Thus, I've included it only versus Pokemon likely to either be paired with Toxic Spikes, status Aurorus, or are paired with something that will status Aurorus. Obviously, if Return OHKOs them, I'm not including a Facade calc.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pualpha-605576073 In this game the band was knocked off, and Aurorus still wreaked havoc; granted, my opponent's hitmonchan was running too little speed, and it was low in the ladder, but this is just meant to show off the amount of brute force this Gamourasaur possesses.
