Other Silly Things You've Seen On The OU Ladder: V2

If you really want to use Donphan, at least don't have Rock Polish on it.

The player on the left had a decent looking team in team preview. Then Gliscor used Brick Break on the first turn and it all went downhill from there. But that does not compare to the fearsome Avalanche Blissey, which is capable of breaking Mega Alakazam's sub in two hits. Why would anyone ever run Seismic Toss over Avalanche with that kind of power?

So, I got bored, and went to a random number generator to get me a completely random team. After getting skiploom, metapod, zoroark, goodra, donphan, toxicroak as a team, went to the OU ladder under an alt to see if anyone would lose to it. Got 2 with this team:

Guess Zoroark is too much for some people...
On the topic of randomly generated teams:

I'm assuming its randomly generated from his username. It was recently put there as well, so maybe he was inspired by this post?

Also, the non-random guy has stuff like Night Slash Skarmory, Venom Drench Crobat, and physical Greninja.

EDIT: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-89150347
Here's another one from the same guy. And he added nicknames.

Another hint that it's random generated is his message at the end:
Veadoney Jean: nice team
RANDOM GENNED: THANK YOU IT TOOK HOURS TO BUILD
Also there was an Air Cutter Zapdos.

Randomly surfing recent replays, I found
-a Gengar using Giga Impact and Ice Punch (on an Aegislash)
-Iron Tail Clefable
-Lucario with Close Combat AND Hi Jump Kick
-Piplup
-Cloyster with King's Rock using Surf, Toxic Spikes, and Aqua Ring
-Luxray with Facade
-Charge Beam Grumpig
-Swagger Torkoal
-Lucario which somehow got outsped by said Grumpig
-Iron Defense Registeel
-DD Dragonite which used Dragon Pulse at +3 attack
-Another Garchomp with Dragon Rush

Deoxys D set up stealth rocks and 3 layers of spikes only to defog it away with skamory. When I set up stealth rock on his non-stealth rock weak team(Misclick).

Turn 20
Sir Hurtsalot used Iron Head!
The opposing Azumarill lost 42% of its health!
The opposing Azumarill ate its Sitrus Berry!
The opposing Azumarill restored HP using its Sitrus Berry!
The opposing Azumarill used Belly Drum!
The opposing Azumarill lost 50% of its health!
The opposing Azumarill cut its own HP and maximized its Attack!
Turn 21
Sir Hurtsalot used Sucker Punch!
But it failed!
The opposing Azumarill used Perish Song!
All Pokémon hearing the song will faint in three turns!
Sir Hurtsalot's perish count fell to 3.
The opposing Azumarill's perish count fell to 3.

I don't understand.

If it was a guts luxray that isn't silly at all

This battle features on one side:
Belly Drum Smeargle
Life Orb Bisharp with Swords Dance and triple stab of Sucker Punch, Knock Off and what appears to be his main STAB attack, Foul Play.
Forretress, which is repeatedly used for Volt Switch in attempts to do damage.
Mega Charizard Y that only shows Focus Blast, despite being against a ghost at one point.

On the other:
Non-Mega/non-sash Alakazam, which stayed in against Bisharp.
A Dragonite with Flamethrower that appears to have max attack and no special attack, HP, or defense investment.
Curse/Amnesia/Rest Snorlax. It's attack of choice? Ice Beam.
Quick Claw Gengar with Sludge Bomb, Thunderbolt and Curse.
Golem.

I'm assuming the first person thinks that Foul Play is a standard 95 BP physical attack, and the Alakazam could have been Life Orb, which while definitely not optimal it is still possible to use. I really can't think of why they thought anything else here was a good idea though.
