I'm gonna go with Liepard. At work atm, but I'll write up the post properly when I'm on break. Thanks for reviving this Orphic!
Liepard @ Expert Belt
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty / Naive Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Knock Off
- Grass Knot
- Play Rough
So...Liepard. Why does this set work effectively as a lure? Well regardless of what set Don uses, it usually doesn't have any reason to fear Liepard. Sure, having your eviolite knocked off sucks or having your utility move (boost or SR) encored sucks but you can avoid that by just hitting Liepard with EQ or Megahorn which will almost always (miss, or 75% chance with EQ) OHKO. The common t-wave doesn't even threaten you. So really, what does a Rhydon have to lose whether the match starts off 1v1 or he's switching in later? Well with this set, quite a bit actually. DDDON will always be OHKOd by GK. Don comes in thinking it can fire off an EQ or scare you out? Nah its dead. The tank set needs a little bit more prep work. Assuming you knock off eviolite first, which isn't that hard to do during the course of a game then GK will do at least 96%.
Running this set does not detract at all from Liepards effectiveness, in fact it even lures other pokes and is an effective mon on HO teams. For that though, I'll let you check out Punch's post on a different thread.

I think Liepard is missing a bit of the love lately, noones saying it's bad but with the previous drops the two dark mons Skuntank and Shiftry DO have a great niche/playstyle difference which warrants using them. Also new toy syndrome. Regardless I firmly think Liepard is the best dark type in NU atm.
Tl;dr
Grass knot hurts, Don usually has no reason to fear Liepard so they'll play sloppy and end up eating a teensy bit of prior damage or be outright OHKOd by knot. No detriment at all for running this set.
